GSRNet Junior Investigators Awards

The GSRNet Junior Investigator Awards recognize outstanding research accomplishments by early-career researchers in the field of stress and/or resilience. A limited number of awardees will be selected (subject to available funding).

Award
Awardees will give an oral presentation at the GSRNet Meeting (Global Stress & Resilience Meeting), 3–5 February 2027. The award also includes a contribution toward travel expenses up to CHF 1,000. Reimbursement will be made after the meeting by bank transfer upon submission of receipts (within 3 weeks).

Eligibility

  • Candidates must be current PhD students or postdoctoral fellows at the application deadline. Assistant professors and group leaders are not eligible.
  • Candidates must have started their PhD no more than 10 years before the application deadline. Career disruptions (e.g., parental leave, illness, caregiving) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Candidates may be from any country.
  • Candidates must register for the meeting and be able to present their work in person. If an awardee is unable to present at the conference for any reason, the award is forfeited.
  • Junior investigators scheduled to give a symposium talk remain eligible. If selected for the Junior Investigator Award, the Award lecture will replace the symposium talk.

Note: Independent of the Junior Investigator Award application, candidates may also submit a separate poster abstract via the standard poster submission track during conference registration.
